The St. Louis Rams have come in under the blackout wire: their Week One contest against the Arizona Cardinals will in fact be televised.
The Rams have been conventionally bad for a few years now, and that's one thing. But failing to sell out (and as a result televise) the most important game the team has played in years would be a truly disheartening brand of unconventional badness.
↵This means the Rams have successfully dodged the first bullet coming their way—now to take advantage of the relative softness of the front of their schedule and ensure they won't be in a position to draft next year's Sam Bradford, too.
