Following a resounding 66-6 victory over Texas Tech, Oklahoma St. remained at No.2 in the latest BCS Rankings. While there might have been some fear that the Cowboys would suffer the same fate that the Oklahoma Sooners did at the hands of the Red Raiders, Oklahoma St. put any speculation to rest with an utterly dominant win. The Cowboys led 21-0 after the first quarter and 49-0 at the half. QB Brandon Weeden threw five TD passes in the win.
Oklahoma continues to move up in the BCS Rankings, as the Sooners are now up to No. 5. The Sooners had the week off following a victory over Texas A&M. It will be interesting to see how OU responds this week against No. 22 Baylor, as this will be the first time it takes the field since the season-ending injury to WR Ryan Broyles.
Baylor moved up three spots in the BCS Rankings following a thrilling comeback victory over the Kansas Jayhawks. The Bears scored 21 unanswered points in the final quarter to force overtime. Baylor then stopped KU on its two-point conversion attempt in OT to hold on for the 31-30 win.
