BCS Rankings, Week 13: Oklahoma St. Falls To No. 4

What was supposed to be a week of few surprises ended up being a Saturday full of upsets in college football. These upsets altered the latest BCS Rankings, with the top teams from the Big 12 dropping down in the rankings.

Oklahoma St., which controlled its destiny for a spot in the BCS Championship game just a week ago, dropped to No. 4 in the rankings following the 37-31 loss to Iowa St. The Cowboys have this weekend off as they prepare for a huge matchup with Oklahoma on December 3. The Sooners also fell victim to an upset, as they lost 45-38 to No. 18 Baylor. With the loss, OU feel to No. 9 in the latest rankings, while the Bears climbed to No. 18.

Kansas St. moved up to No. 12 in the BCS Rankings, as a 17-13 win over No. 25 Texas proved to be enough to help move the Wildcats up. Texas, which has scored 18 total points in its past two games, managed to remain in the rankings, as the Longhorns now sit at No. 25.
