2011 Bowl Predictions, Week 13: Missouri Could Land In The Holiday Bowl

In his latest bowl projections, SB Nation's Bill Connelly places the Missouri Tigers in the Holiday Bowl against the California Bears. But Connelly points out that much remains up in the air when it comes to the selection process, and the Holiday Bowl in particular. Missouri could be competing with several other Big 12 teams for that spot, including Iowa State, Texas and Texas A&M. If the Holiday Bowl were to go with one of the Texas schools, the domino effect could be bad news for Missouri.

The Tigers have won two consecutive games heading into this week and conclude their regular season against the rival Kansas Jayhawks on Nov. 26. The Tigers have already clinched bowl eligibility, but a win over the Jayhawks assures a winning season.
