The Missouri Tiger's perfect 2011 is unlikely to get interrupted this week. The Tigers, fresh off another impressive victory— this time over the Villanova Wildcats, in Madison Square Garden— and a thrashing of the Navy Midshipmen, will take on the Kennesaw State Owls in their lone match up of the week.
Missouri would be an overwhelming favorite over just about any team in the Atlantic Sun, but the Owls are currently just 2-5 on the season. Those losses include a 50 point loss to the Wisconsin Badgers, a 30 point loss to the Belmont Bruins and a 20 point loss to the Lipscomb Bruins. The Owls are led by junior guard Markeith Cummings, who leads the Owls in points (18.2), field goal percentage, three point field goal percentange and is second rebounds.
Game time: Thursday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m. CT
Location: Mizzou Arena, Columbia, Mo.
