The San Francisco 49ers have a chance to clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC for this year's postseason by defeating the struggling St. Louis Rams on Sunday, but they're still trying to get some players healthy at this point in the week. The expectation at this point is that star linebacker Patrick Willis will play after missing the team's past three games while dealing with a hamstring strain.
Key players missing from practice on Wednesday include wide receivers Kyle Williams and Ted Ginn Jr., so the 49ers may be short on offensive weapons when they face the Rams this weekend. San Francisco's full injury report for Wednesday can be found here, but it's show below:
Limited Participation
- LB Patrick Willis
- CB Carlos Rogers
- RB Bruce Miller
- CB Chris Culliver
Did Not Participate
- WR Kyle Williams
- WR Ted Ginn Jr.
- TE Delanie Walker
The 49ers could be weakened offensively this weekend if they don't have Ginn and Williams this weekend. The team recently released Braylon Edwards, so the team only has Michael Crabtree, Josh Morgan, Brett Swain and Dontavia Bogan at wide receiver on the active roster at the moment.
