BCS Rankings, Week 15: Oklahoma St. Left Out Of National Championship Game

Despite a dominant victory over rival Oklahoma in its season-finale, Oklahoma St. couldn't muster the votes to move up to the No. 2 spot in the BCS Rankings. Instead, the National Championship game will be a rematch between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama.

The Cowboys finished at No. 3 in the latest rankings and will face the Stanford Cardinal, who are ranked No. 4 in the BCS Rankings, in the Fiesta Bowl. Kansas St. is the next highest ranked Big 12 team, with the Wildcats coming in at No, 8. However, the Wildcats were not rewarded with a spot in a BCS game. Baylor jumped all the way up to No. 12 following the convincing victory over Texas.

Oklahoma, which struggled down the stretch following a devastating injury to star WR Ryan Broyles ended up at No. 14. The final Big 12 team to make an appearance in the rankings is Texas, which landed at No. 24 despite a blowout loss to Baylor.
