Packers-Steelers Odds: Green Bay Packers Remain Slight Favorites

Just one day before the 2011 Super Bowl the time has come for a final look at the Packers-Steelers odds in what has proven to be one of the most evenly matched Super Bowls (pregame, that is) in recent memory. The line just hasn't moved much since each team won its respective conference championship, and the Packers remain three point favorites on Saturday morning.

Of course, that's cold comfort—as the mothership notes, the underdog is 8-2 against the spread in the 10 most-recent Super Bowls. And this game has proven more difficult to pick than most; already we have as the favorite a team that won 10 games in the regular season, impressive point differential aside, and the Steelers' recent history is considerably more illustrious than the average underdog.

But if you're looking for the real action, I like these absurd prop bets. If you want my picks—Christina Aguilera is definitely going over two minutes on her rendition of the National Anthem, but only wearing a cowboy hat if Cher lets her borrow one in time for the game; and Brett Favre will clearly be mentioned more than 2.5 times in the Super Bowl broadcast. He was mentioned more than 2.5 times in the average Rams broadcast. I'd bet my SB Nation salary on it.

Except, I mean, that I'm not. A guy's gotta eat.
