Does The "Pressurized Egg" That Novak Djokovic Has Have A Hockey Use?

It’s funny. While I was reading this Wall Street Journal article on professional tennis player Novak Djokovic and his pressurized egg thingie (or as is it’s actually called, the CVAC Pod), I was wondering if it’d have any use in hockey.

Apparently Devils’ GM Lou Lamoriello has seen it in action and didn’t believe it could do anything for his team. I’m not sure, because if it improves healing time, it’d be amazingly useful for Martin Brodeur, who is not only been a victim of a few injuries the past few seasons, but who is also old.

The company claims that spending up to 20 minutes in the pod three times a week can boost athletic performance by improving circulation, boosting oxygen-rich red-blood cells, removing lactic acid and possibly even stimulating mitochondrial biogenesis and stem-cell production.
