Recently, the injury bug has avoided St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson, but it came back to bite him against the San Francisco 49ers. In the final game of the 2011 season, Jackson has injured his left arm, and the team has announced that his return to the game is "questionable" at this point.
If Jackson's season is over, he ends with 260 carries for 1145 yards, a seventh consecutive 1000-yard season for the star running back. This season, he's also caught 41 passes for 318 yards, scoring six touchdowns in total. He surpassed 100 yards in a game on four different occasions, and he could potentially get to that figure against San Francisco if he's able to return.
