On Wednesday night, the Saint Louis Billikens are visiting the Dayton Fliers as they try to rebound from a recent loss to the New Mexico Lobos. The Billikens have had a pretty strong season so far, and even after the recent defeat against New Mexico, they still have the best overall record of any team in the Atlantic 10 conference at 12-2 on the year.
Dayton brings a pretty solid team to the table, though, so Saint Louis won't be able to waltz back into the win column on Wednesday. The Fliers had a couple of tough losses to Miami (Ohio) and Buffalo early in the season, but they've been much better of late. Since that loss to Buffalo on Nov. 30, the Fliers have victories over Ole Miss and then-No. 15 Alabama, and their only losses have come against quality opponents from Murray State and Seton Hall.
Both teams are opening their conference schedules on Wednesday against one another, so this is a key chance for both teams to get out to a strong start against Atlantic 10 opponents.
