Danny Amendola injury: Rams receiver out again vs. Packers

The St. Louis Rams will once again be without wide receiver Danny Amendola when they face the Green Bay Packers Sunday. Amendola continues to recover from a shoulder injury sustained in the Rams' Oct. 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals, and is expected to be out an additional 3-4 weeks.

At the time he was injured, Amendola had emerged as the Rams' top receiving threat, catching 32 passes for 395 yards and two scores in the team's first four games. In his absence, the Rams offense has sought help from a variety of sources. Veteran wideout Brandon Gibson picked up much of the load last week, catching seven passes for 91 yards, both season highs. Rookie Chris Givens, who had only four receptions entering last week's game against Miami, caught three passes for 85 yards. Tight end Lance Kendricks also saw an increase in production, hauling in four passes for 40 yards.

The Rams host the Packers at noon CT Sunday. Television coverage is available on Fox.
