The St. Louis Rams will attempt to break a five-game winless streak when they host division rival Arizona on Sunday.
After opening the season 3-2, the Rams have lost four of their last five games to go along with the tie against San Francisco. While the Rams have struggled lately, the Cardinals are riding an even longer losing streak. Arizona has lost six straight games after jumping out to a 4-0 start.
Sunday's game will be the second meeting between the two teams. St. Louis won the first contest 17-3 behind a dominant defensive effort. The Rams' defense recorded nine sacks against the Cardinals, knocking out quarterback Kevin Kolb in the process. Kolb remains out and instead the Rams will face rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley. Lindley will make his first career start, replacing the ineffective John Skelton.
Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has struggled against Arizona during his career. He completed just 7-of-21 pass attempts for 141 yards in the first meeting. In five games against the Cardinals, Bradford has four touchdown passes compared to six interceptions.
Despite being on the road and playing a rookie quarterback, the Cardinals opened as 1½-point favorite, according to OddsShark.com.
