The wide receiver played this past Sunday in the Rams' 31-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals after being listed as doubtful on the injury report. He was limited however, playing just seven offensive snaps and catching his only target of the day for 38 yards. He's also dealt with a clavicle injury this season which he suffered in the Rams' Oct. 4 meeting with the Cardinals.
Amendola has been the go-to receiver for quarterback Sam Bradford, leading St. Louis in targets (73), reception (51) and receiving yards (576). His 72.0 yards per game place him 15th in the NFL, just behind the Miami Dolphins' Brian Hartline and ahead of the New York Giants' Victor Cruz.
The Rams are hoping Amendola will be able to play Sunday against the NFC West-leading San Francisco 49ers.
