The St. Louis Rams are in as dire of straights as they've been all year. When they face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, the Rams must win to stay in the hunt for the NFC Wild Card race. In fact, the Vikings are in the same situation so both teams can expect to play in what could be their hardest fought game of the season. The good news for the Rams is they may have their best receiver back just in time for kickoff.
Danny Amendola has missed the last two games with a foot and heel injury in a season that has seen him spend more time on the injured list than the field. But Amendola was back at practice Wednesday, albeit in a limited fashion, doing mostly individual drills. Head coach Jeff Fisher is confident Amendola will be on the field when they take ont he Vikings this Sunday.
Linebacker James Laurinaitis and cornerback Cortland Finnegan both sat out of Wednesday practice with back and ankle injuries respectively.
