In an otherwise excellent write-up in today’s Post-Dispatch, Dan O’Neil wrote something oddly interesting as part of the introduction. To quote:

Please in the comments, if you were one of the ones who advocated anyone other than Backes (or Jackman) for captain, explain yourself.
