Xavier leads St. Louis 39-29 at the break. St. Louis is shooting just 33 percent from the floor (10-of-30), while Xavier is 14-of-27, good for a shooting percentage of 51.9.

Wing Dezmine Wells has 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting to lead the Musketeers. Mark Lyons made two three-pointers en route to a 10-point half.

Kwamain Mitchell leads St. Louis with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting. Teammate Brian Conklin has eight points. Jordair Jett has five points at halftime.
