NCAA Bracket Update: Sweet 16 Midwest Schedule Set For Friday

The Midwest Region's top seeds have advanced to the Sweet 16, where they will each face an underdog team looking to stun the college basketball world.

St. Louis is about to be invaded. With both the North Carolina Tar Heels and North Carolina State Wolfpack advancing to the Sweet 16 in the Midwest bracket, residents of the Tar Heel state will descend upon the city en masse in the ensuing week, bringing with them both the familiar (the color red) and the not so familiar (UNC's trademark powder blue). The good news for residents of St. Louis is that all of the North Carolina pride may overshadow the presence of fans of the Kansas Jayhawks, who no doubt will be spending a good portion of their time in the city taunting fans of the Missouri Tigers after their shocking loss to the Norfolk State Spartans.

Bound to be lost in the shuffle are the Ohio Bobcats, who are the first 13 seed since the Bradley Braves did so in 2006. They will enter their game vs. the Tar Heels as severe underdogs, but with the Tar Heels ailing and the Bobcats' confidence sky high, the game is certainly up in the air. After all, they don't call it March Madness for nothing.

Here's the full schedule and broadcast info for Sweet 16 play in St. Louis:
