The No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels are preparing to play without PG Kendall Marshall, according to the independent UNC sports news agency, Inside Carolina:
RoyW: UNC will prepare 100 percent as if Marshall will not play.

The Tar Heels take on the No. 3 Ohio Bobcats on Friday, and they are hoping Kendall can recover from his surgery in time to play, but the team can ill-afford to take chances.
The Bobcats boast a strong rebounding team and have been a popular upset pick this March. If Kendall cannot play, then the North Carolina will turn to their bench to stop PG D.J. Cooper (14.6 ppg, 5.6 apg, 3.8 rpg) and the Bobcats defense.
