It looks increasingly likely the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels will be without PG Kendall Marshall on Friday against the No. 3 Ohio Bobcats. According to the team's head coach, Roy Williams, Marshall's surgery on Monday has hardly healed:
Roy WIlliams on Marshall's status: "Yes, I really don't know (if he'll play). I have a strong, strong inclination he is not going to play."

Roy Williams on Marshall: "The guy can't brush his teeth right now."

Marshall has been a stabilizing force for the Tar Heels during the 2012 NCAA Tournament, scoring a double-double in both of the Tar Heels' previous two games. Without the 20-year-old, the team will turn to the bench to find a replacement for his 8.1 PPG, 2.6 RPG and impressive 9.8 APG.
