NCAA Tournament Bracket 2012, Michigan State Vs. Louisville Final Score: Cardinals Crush Sloppy Spartans

The Louisville Cardinals were able to turn in an even more stultifying pace than the Saint Louis Billikens managed in their Sweet 16 matchup with the No. 1 Michigan State Spartans, holding Tom Izzo's squad's final score to just 44 points on the way to a 57-44 win that will move them into the 2012 NCAA bracket's Elite Eight. Draymond Green shot just 5-16, finishing with 13 points and 16 rebounds, while only one other Spartan—Brandon Wood—was in double digits. They shot just .286 from the field—of course, the Cardinals shot just .382.

It was not a banner day for basketball as it ought to be played, but the Cardinals—led by Chane Behanan, who scored 15 and pulled down nine rebounds—managed to move on. They're within one game of the Final Four after the upset.
