With an opportunity to clinch second place in the Atlantic 10, the Saint Louis Billikens came out and delivered a dominant performance in a 75-60 victory over Duquesne. The Billikens have now won nine of their last 10, with the lone loss coming in stunning fashion against Rhode Island.
The Billkens executed their offense at a high level, shooting 52.7% from the field as a team. Dwayne Evans led the way with a team-high 20 points on 9/14 shooting and 14 rebounds for the double-double. Kwamain Mitchell scored 13 points, while Rob Loe and Brian Conklin both added 11 points in the victory.
Duquesne really struggled on the glass, as it was outrebounded by 12 in the loss. B.J. Monteiro led the way with 14 points and five rebounds, while Eric Evans chipped in 11 points. The Dukes shot only 44.9% from the field as a team.
