After an impressive regular-season performance in the Atlantic 10, the Saint Louis Billikens will have the luxury of a bye to the quarterfinal round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Billikens, who earned the No. 2 seed following a 12-4 record in conference, will face the winner of the matchup between La Salle and Richmond. The Billikens faced both La Salle and Richmond once during the regular-season, going 2-0 and winning both games comfortably.
Temple earned the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament after winning the regular-season title with a 13-3 record in conference play. Xavier and St. Bonaventure earned the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds and will also have the luxury of a bye into the quarterfinals. The opening round of the tournament will begin on March 6, with the quarterfinal round beginning on March 9. The championship game will be played on March 11 in Atlantic City, N.J.
