St. Louis Vs. La Salle Final Score: Billikens Top Explorers 78-71

The second-seeded St. Louis Billikens are moving on to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. The Billikens defeated sixth-seeded La Salle today 78-71 today to force a matchup with the winner of tonight's game between No. 3 Xavier and No. 6 Dayton, which tips-off at 8 p.m. The win pushes St. Louis to 25-6 overall and 12-4 in conference. La Salle falls to 21-12, 9-7.

Four players scored 13 or more points for St. Louis, led by 16 points from Chicago-bred guard Mike McCall Jr. Teammate Kwamain Mitchell scored 15 points and had seven assists and four rebounds. Forward Brian Conklin scored 14 for the Billikens. Jordair Jett came off the bench to score 13 in the win.

Earl Pettis scored 18 to lead the Explorers. Ramon Galloway scored 14 for La Salle in the loss.
