2012 US Open: Who Will Claim The Title?

The 2012 US Open, which takes place at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, gets underway this week. The marquee early group is without question that of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson, who tee off together at 9:33 a.m. CT Thursday.

2011 US Open champ Rory McIlroy is playing with Lee Westwood and Luke Donald; 2010 champ Graeme McDowell has been paired with Sergio Garcia and Jim Furyk.

Dustin Johnson heads into the weekend with some momentum, as he won the FedEx St. Jude Classic on June 10. He'll be playing with Rickie Fowler, who picked up his first career tour victory this year, and Ryo Ishikawa.
