U.S. Open Golf 2012 Leaderboard: Michael Thompson Makes Push To The Top

The first round of the 2012 U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco is underway, and Michael Thompson jumped on top of the leaderboard with a 3-under mark through 15 holes. He started slowly and bogeyed three of the first six holes, but bounced back with birdies on No. 7, No. 9, No. 11, No. 12 and No. 14 to move past Jason Bohn (who is 2-under through 15 holes).
