Greg Zuerlein Is The Only Part Of The St. Louis Rams' Offense Worth Watching Vs. Cowboys

The St. Louis Rams' offense has been nightmarishly bad vs. the Dallas Cowboys—after a respite against the Kansas City Chiefs, Sam Bradford is again being visited by the end result of his incompetent offensive line on nearly every dropback—but luckily, there's one Rams rookie who's made the offense worth watching. Unluckily, that Rams rookie is kicker Greg Zuerlein. "The Leg" (what a nickname) has buried two 50+-yard field goals between the uprights in Cowboys Stadium so far.

Of course, he's shown so much strength in this preseason that the only real surprise about that is that the Rams somehow got him within 50 yards of the uprights.

I stand by my depressing fantasy football sleeper recommendation from earlier in the week: Greg Zuerlein might be in an offense that's just bad enough to justify picking him as your kicker, if you're looking for a homer pick to make and the other Rams fan in your draft already took Steven Jackson. I'm not sure it made sense for the Rams (or anybody else) to draft a kicker, but if they were going to do it it would appear, three games in, that they chose the right one.
