St. Louis hosts Washington in Week 2 of the NFL season on Sept. 16, and many experts across the league are favoring the visiting Redskins. With Rookie Robert Griffin III lighting up the scoreboard in Week 1 en route to an NFC Player of the Week award, it isn't a surprise the Redskins bandwagon is filling up.
Not everywhere, though.
Turf Show Times editor Ryan Van Bibber seems to stop just short of picking a Rams win.
Back to reality for RGIII? It's very likely with the Rams defense playing sharp on the edges. If the pass rushers get going this week, the Rams can win.
He's not lying. St. Louis's defense contained Seattle on the edge for much of their 27-23 loss to Detroit in Week 1.
The opposing SB Nation view, written by the staff at Hogs Haven, disagrees to the tune of a unanimous decision in favor of the Redskins.
NFL.com's staff of writers largely favors the Hogs Haven experts, picking the Redskins 4-1 over St. Louis. The four in favor are Kareem Copeland, Dan Hanzus, Gregg Rosenthal and Rhino, while Marc Sessler is the lone dissenter.
The ESPN panel is in line with the NFL guys, picking the Redskins 11-1. The lone dissenter is Seth Wickersham.
