Your average Week 4 NFL picks column probably isn't paying much attention to our game Sunday, and to be honest I can't blame them. The Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams' .500-ish NFC West ambitions were more exciting back in 2010, when it could get them into the playoffs; this year the San Francisco 49ers remain the clear favorites, and the Seahawks and Rams are both somewhere in mid-rebuild.
In the meantime: SB Nation is taking the Seahawks, who are three point favorites. I can't quite blame them--their offense is hyper-dependent on turning Marshawn Lynch into Boxer the Horse, but the Seahawks have shut down two top-tier quarterbacks in as many weeks. (And lost to John Skelton and Kevin Kolb, which is all right.) The Rams were a much more popular pick before Sam Bradford and the offense had one of their most inefficient games in recent memory in a mind-numbing loss to the Bears.
Meanwhile: The 49ers are picked to beat the Jets, and the Cardinals are picked to be a truly surprising 4-0. For a full set of NFL picks for Week 4, check out the national, even if they don't believe the Rams can outscore Marshawn Lynch pulling an enormous cart filled with garbage.
