The St. Louis Blues have been off since last Sunday following a moderately successful four-game road trip that saw the Blues win twice. They'll return home briefly on Friday before heading right back on the road Saturday.
Nov. 4 vs. Vancouver Canucks (7:00 p.m. CT, Fox Sports Midwest)
The Canucks are coming in hot offensively--they scored a combined 12 goals in their last two games, both of which they won. Vancouver owns the healthiest goal differential in the Western Conference, but the team is in third place in its own division with a modest 6-5-1 overall record. These teams last met on Oct. 26, with St. Louis getting the better of Vancouver, 3-0.
Nov. 5 @ Minnesota Wild (7:00 p.m. CT, Fox Sports Midwest)
Minnesota head coach Mike Yeo has one of those good problems; backup goalie Josh Harding played really well in back-to-back wins over the Detroit Red Wings earlier in the week, and that has made it tougher for Yeo to decide who starts. Harding will started his third straight game on Thursday night, so perhaps the Blues should expect Niklas Backstrom to get the nod on Friday night.
