Chicago Blackhawks Win Again, Near Terrifying Upset

Okay, St. Louis Blues fans, this just got serious: Having won 4-3 in overtime Sunday night, the eighth-seeded Chicago Blackhawks have now forced a game seven in their first-round series against the No. 1 Vancouver Canucks. That means that on Tuesday the Blackhawks could do something we'll have to hear about for the remainder of the 2011 NHL Playoffs: Knock out a top seed after going down three-nil to start the series.

In "The bitter man's guide to the playoffs", gallagher notes that "while the Hawks are seemingly just hanging out in Robert Luongo's head and a total collapse of the President Trophy winning Canucks would be fun to watch, you won't catch me rooting for the Hawks."

If I had to guess, that was the official Blues-fan position prior to Sunday night's game making the total collapse of the Canucks that much more plausible. Now I think there might be some more direct rooting for Roberto Luongo in St. Louis Tuesday night...
