Blues Vs. Stars Final Score: T.J. Oshie Lifts St. Louis To 1-0 Victory

After playing over 50 scoreless minutes on Monday against the Dallas Stars, Blues forward T.J. Oshie beat Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen to give St. Louis a 1-0 victory at the Scottrade Center. Oshie's goal was all St. Louis goalie Jaroslav Halak needed. Halak turned back all 22 of Dallas' shots en route to the shutout. The win improves St. Louis to 27-12-6 and moves the team up to 60 points. Dallas falls to 27-12-6.

St. Louis out-shot Dallas by 10 (32-22), and also held an edge in faceoff wins (36-22) and hits (23-19). The game was characterized by a rash of penalties, with the teams combined for 28 minutes in the penalty box.

Oshie's goal was his 14th of the season. David Perron and Alex Pietrangelo were credited with assists.
