The 2012 NHL All Star Game is being held in Ottawa, so this is a bit of a homecoming for St. Louis Blues goaltender Brian Elliott. The 26-year-old began his career with the Ottawa Senators, spending three seasons there before being traded to the Colorado Avalanche last season.
When the Avalanche decided to go in a different direction, the Blues snapped up Elliott in free agency. That decision is proving to be awfully sound now that he's the lone Blues player participating in the All Star Game. He also appeared in the Skills Challenge event that happened on Saturday.
Game time: Sunday, January 29, 2012, 3 p.m. CST
Location: Scotiabank Place, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
TV: NBC
Announcers: Mike "Doc" Emrick, Ed Olcyzk, Pierre McGuire, Jeremy Roenick
