The St. Louis Blues AHL affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, have a busy weekend as they play three games in three nights, all at home. They begin play on Friday night with a 6:05 p.m. CT against the Chicago Wolves, and then on Saturday and Sunday, they go up against the Charlotte Checkers. Saturday's game is at 6:05 p.m., and Sunday's game is an afternoon game at 4:05 p.m.
Peoria is struggling so far this year as they have scored just six goals and have just one win on the year. They are tied for fourth place in the Midwest division with just three points. Those six goals are also the least amount in the league.
Their games this weekend will be a tough go as both Chicago and Charlotte are two of the better teams in the AHL. Charlotte is a great offensive team, averaging four goals per game with 16 on the season.
Chicago is not quite there offensively. scoring 12 goals in five games, but its defense is only giving up two goals per game.
