Blues Vs. Ducks Score Update: St. Louis Leads 2-1 After 1st Period

The St. Louis Blues hit the 100 point mark on the season by defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday 3-1. St. Louis continues its playoff push tonight against the Anaheim Ducks, and after a period, the Blues lead 2-1.

Seven minutes into the first period, Jaden Schwartz got the Blues on the scoreboard. Schawartz's second goal of the season was set-up by teammate Alex Pietrangelo. The Ducks would tie things up when Cam Fowler scored his fifth goal of the season on a power play off feeds from Ryan Getzlaf and Bobby Ryan. St. Louis would re-take the lead before the end of the period when David Backes put his in 22nd goal of the season unassisted.

St. Louis has entered the contest as winners of six of its last eight games.
