The St. Louis Blues are out-shooting the Anaheim Ducks tonight 23-15 after two periods, but a second period goal by Anaheim's Nick Bonino means the game will head into the third period in a 2-2 tie.
Bonino beat St. Louis goalie Jaroslav Halak for his fifth goal of the season, which was set up by teammates Kyle Palmieri and Saku Koivu.
There were three penalties in the second, two of them at opposite ends of the period by the Blues' Jamie Langenbrunner. Langenbrunner was whistled two minutes for roughing on Sheldon Brookbank of the Ducks four minutes into the frame. He also got called on high-sticking 11 minutes later. Anaheim's Teemu Selanne was also called for a two-minute minor for holding St. Louis' Ian Cole.
