NHL Standings Update 2012: Blues Still Chasing Canucks For Top Seed In Western Conference

The 2012 NHL regular season is almost over, and with just a few games left the St. Louis Blues are still the No. 2 seed in the NHL Western Conference playoff bracket behind the top-seeded Vancouver Canucks. If the playoffs were to start today, the Blues (48-21-11, 107 pts) would take on the San Jose Sharks (42-29-10, 94 pts) in their opening round matchup. That would be good news for St. Louis, as they swept the four-game season series against San Jose.
