Tony La Russa is still playing his game of managerial hard-to-get with the St. Louis Cardinals, but now Bernie MIklasz has taken the opportunity to say, "Kiss her, already!"
↵↵↵Only La Russa truly knows if he's capable of maintaining energy and enthusiasm for another long and grinding season at age 66. But La Russa has had plenty of time to think about this. The Cardinals were essentially finished in the NL Central race by the end of August. La Russa had plenty of mornings and late evenings to contemplate his future.

That's about right. I'm hoping La Russa rejoins the Cardinals, but whether he does or doesn't it's going to dictate how the Cardinals plan for 2011 and beyond—and it needs to happen as soon as possible.
