The 2011 World Series continues Saturday night, when the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers contest Game 3 at the Ballpark in Arlington. Kyle Lohse is set to make the start against Matt Harrison beginning at the usual 7:05 PM CDT on FOX, when the Cardinals will look to regain the advantage and make up for a split in the first leg of their home field advantage.

The Cardinals have Allen Craig playing right field with Lance Berkman slotting in as designated hitter, a rare situation in which they might be better off than the American League with the DH factored in—the Rangers will move Mike Napoli to DH in favor of Yorvit Torrealba, improving their defense but adding an 84 OPS+ bat to their lineup.

The most important new operator on the scene, however, might be the Texas Rangers' home ballpark, regarded for years now as one of the most dangerous parks for fly-ball pitchers in baseball. With lead groundballer Jaime Garcia set to start two games at Busch Stadium the Cardinals find themselves with Edwin Jackson and Lohse in a park that's not very forgiving of fastballs left up and breakers left hanging.
