Maybe it's a little of been there, done that, but prices for Games 6 and 7 of the 2011 World Series are on a bit of a downward trend in St. Louis. As of this writing, tickets for Game 6 are as cheap as $151 for standing room only and the average is about $523. Those numbers are down about 28 percent from just three days ago. All of this information comes to us from SB Nation's ticket partner, TiqIQ.
For a prospective Game 7, tickets are considerably more expensive, but also on a downward trend. The cheapest seats are available for about $370 for standing room only and the average is about $590.
The Cardinals, of course, need to win on Wednesday in order to force a decisive Game 7. That would give them a chance to win their second World Series since 2006 and their 11th in their history, the second most in history.
