The St. Louis Cardinals and star catcher Yadier Molina have reportedly agreed on the terms of a contract extension, although neither side has yet revealed the number of years or dollar amount of the new deal. But reports— the latest coming from Jon Heyman of CBS— indicate that the deal will be for five years and $75 million.
Molina has been with the Cardinals for eight years, and he's coming off of easily the best season of his career, hitting over .300 for only the second time and nearly doubling his career high in home runs with 14.
