Cardinals Vs. Cubs Preview: St. Louis Looks To Avoid Sweep At Wrigley

The St. Louis Cardinals have lost two games to the Chicago Cubs in dramatic fashion at Wrigley Field the last two days. On Wednesday, they'll turn to starter Lance Lynn to stop the bleeding. Chris Volstad is slated to start for Chicago.

Lynn enters with sparkling numbers. The 24-year old righty is 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA and 0.74 WHIP. He's beaten the Cubs once already this year. on April 14, Lynn struck out five Cubs and allowed one run in 5.1 innings during a 5-1 St. Louis victory at Busch Stadium.

Volstad has struggled for Chicago. He's 0-2 with an 6.19 ERA.
