Let's hope that we don't all have to wait too long, but the Chicago Cubs recently announced that Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field is being delayed due to rain. The scheduled start time for the game was 1:20 p.m. CST, but that's just not happening now.
Today's #Cubs vs. #Cardinals game is delayed by rain. We will share the start time as soon as it's determined.

The Cardinals have Lance Lynn going on the mound as they try to avoid their first sweep of the 2012 season, one that would especially sting considering that St. Louis hasn't been swept by Chicago since September 2010. Lynn has been fantastic as Chris Carpenter's replacement, though, posting a 1.42 ERA over 17 innings in his first three starts this year.
