Cardinals Vs. Brewers Preview: St. Louis Goes For Third Straight Victory

The St. Louis Cardinals lost Albert Pujols this offseason, while the Milwaukee Brewers lost Prince Fielder. The Brewers retained MVP Ryan Braun and two of the NL's true top flight starters, but in four games in 2012, the Redbirds have won three. Maybe more impressive is the run differential, which after the Cardinals' 13-1 win on Friday night, now tilts 33 to 15 in their favor.

Looking to keep the good fortune going will be Kyle Lohse, who has been more or less unbelievable this season, posting a 0.99 ERA in four starts while also posting an 8/1 K:BB ratio. He'll be opposed by Miguel Estrada, who has been called upon to plug a hole in the Brewers rotation. In his previous start this season, which came a week ago vs. the Colorado Rockies, Estrada struck out nine in five innings while only giving up two hits and an unearned run.

Game date/time: Saturday, April 28, 2012, 12:05 p.m. CT

Location: Busch Stadium, St. Louis, Mo.

TV: FOX
