Brewers Vs. Cardinals Final Score: St. Louis Downs Milwaukee 7-3

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 7-3 today at Busch Stadium. St. Louis scored two in the third, one in the fourth, two in the sixth and two in the eighth to secure the victory. The win improves the Cards to 14-7 on the season, while Milwaukee falls to 9-12.

Kyle Lohse picked up the win for St. Louis, running his record to 4-0 on the season. Lohse pitched six innings and allowed three runs and six hits while striking out five.

David Freese hit his fifth homer of the season, a solo shot in the fourth inning off of Milwaukee starter Marco Estrada. Catcher Yadier Molina added a two-run homer in the sixth, his fourth dinger of the season.
