Cardinals Vs. Brewers Score Update: Cardinals Cruise To Victory

After a disappointing offensive performance in a shutout loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday, the St. Louis Cardinals responded in impressive fashion with a 9-3 win. With the victory, the Cardinals took the series on the road against a key Central Division rival.

While the Cardinals found a rhythm at the plate, the story of the game was the performance of Lance Lynn, who was outstanding on the mound. Over 6 2/3 innings, Lynn allowed only one earned run and struck out eight batters to earn his first victory of the season.

At the plate, St. Louis had success against every pitcher Milwaukee brought to the mound. Rafael Furcal, Carlos Beltran and Shane Robinson each had three hits, with Robinson driving in a game-high three runs. Beltran hit his second home run of the season and drove in two runs in the win.
