The St. Louis Cardinals open their first series of the 2012 season with the Atlanta Braves on Friday night at Busch Stadium. St. Louis is also looking for its fifth straight win of the season, which would qualify as the team's longest winning streak of the season thus far.

After a rough outing last week, Cardinals starter Jaime Garcia is hoping to bounce back with a strong performance against Atlanta. Last Saturday, he gave up six runs over six innings of work against the Houston Astros, bringing his season ERA up to 3.76.

Mike Minor is currently slated to start the game for the Braves, and he's been even worse than Garcia lately, giving up 15 runs in 11.1 innings during his past two starts.

Game Time: 7:15 p.m. CST

Location: Busch Stadium, St. Louis, MO

Broadcast: FSMW-HD (TV), KMOX (radio)
