Cardinals Vs. Royals: Preview, TV, Radio And More

The St. Louis Cardinals are traveling to take on the Kansas City Royals in another interleague matchup.

The St. Louis Cardinals head on the road for another interleague matchup when they face their instate American League counterpart in the Kansas City Royals. For Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran this is a homecoming of sorts as this is his first trip back to Kauffman Stadium since the Royals traded him to the Houston Astros back in 2004. This is the second meeting for Beltran facing his old team as he faced the Royals last week and went 6-for-14 with one RBI.

The pitching matchup has the Cardinals sending out Joe Kelly who is making his third career start. Kelly did face the Royals last week but he lasted only 4.1 innings while allowing three runs and seven hits.

The Royals will be sending out Vin Mazzaro who is making his second start of the week against the Cardinals and the last time he faced them Mazzaro pitched six scoreless innings.
