Cardinals Vs. Marlins Preview: Road Trip Concludes In Miami

The Cardinals start a three-game series against Miami on Monday.

The St. Louis Cardinals will finish up a nine-game road trip when they swing through Miami for a three-game set starting on Monday night. They're still trying to fight their way back up the NL Central standings, and after a weekend sweep of the Kansas City Royals, they've got some added confidence heading into their matchup with the Marlins.

Miami has been trending in the other direction -- before a win on Sunday, the team had lost six games in a row.

Jake Westbrook (6-6, 3.83 ERA) is expected to get the ball for St. Louis on Monday, and Ricky Nolasco (6-6, 5.16) will be on the mound for Miami.
