Cardinals Vs. Marlins Final Score: St. Louis Comes From Behind In 8-7 Victory

The St. Louis Cardinals scored four runs in the ninth inning and two runs in the 10th inning to complete a come-from-behind 8-7 victory over the Miami Marlins on Monday night. The victory lifts the Cards to 39-35, while Miami falls to 34-39.

St. Louis' ninth inning rally started with an RBI single by Carlos Beltran to score shortstop Rafael Furcal. Allen Craig cut the Marlins' lead to 6-5 with a sac fly. Catcher Yadier Molina's 11th homer of the season would put the game into extras.

In the 10th inning, Furcal and pinch-hitting pitcher Joe Kelly each drove in runs. Catcher John Buck drove-in one run for Miami in the 10th inning, but St. Louis closer Jason Motte was eventually abled to nail down his 15th save of the season.
